About Ann Arbor Comprehensive Treatment Center in Ann Arbor, MI

Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Ann Arbor Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder.

MAT is a research-backed form of treatment that uses both prescription medication and therapeutic components to help people achieve successful recovery from opioid addiction. Many methadone clinics only provide one type of medication as part of treatment, but our Ann Arbor center offers methadone, Suboxone, naltrexone, and buprenorphine.

These medications help people stop using opioids without experiencing the physically and mentally painful symptoms associated with withdrawal, but each one can affect people differently. That’s why our staff of experts will work with you to identify the right medication and the proper dosage for your recovery journey.

Ann Arbor CTC Treatment Therapies

We refer to our facility as a Comprehensive Treatment Center rather than a methadone clinic because we believe that there is more to helping people manage the symptoms of opioid addiction than just medication.

It’s important to help patients break bad habits and develop valuable skills that will promote long-term recovery. At our Ann Arbor CTC, we achieve that with individual and group therapy sessions.

Individual counseling pairs you with a trained professional who will help you work through the behaviors that led to opioid abuse and identify ways to regain self-confidence. Group therapy pairs you with other adults who are receiving MAT at Ann Arbor CTC and provides a chance for you to learn from their experiences — positive and negative — while sharing your own story.

What to Expect at Ann Arbor CTC

Many people don’t know what to expect from receiving treatment or feel that there’s a stigma attached to the term methadone clinic. At our Ann Arbor addiction treatment center, we want to provide a clear understanding of what you can expect.

Our clinic provides quality care in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. We believe that one of the most significant components of our care is our personalized treatment plans, which we begin to form at your initial intake appointment. Our team of experts will ask you questions about your medical history, administer some basic tests such as a physical exam, and discuss what you hope to accomplish in your time in MAT.

We understand that every patient follows a unique path to recovery. And we’ll be there with you every step of the way through MAT as self-doubt starts to slip away and your renewed outlook on life begins to shine through.
