About Parkersburg Comprehensive Treatment Center in Parkersburg, WV

Parkersburg Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Parkersburg, West Virginia, offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder.

Decades of research has proved that MAT is a safe, effective form of treatment in helping people successfully achieve long-term recovery from opioid addiction. And unlike some methadone clinics, at our Parkersburg treatment center, we use a variety of different medications to help reduce the often painful effects of withdrawal and eliminate cravings.

Depending on the person, our Parkersburg CTC uses naltrexone, buprenorphine, methadone, and Suboxone as part of MAT. Each patient will receive a specific dosage and medication plan after our team conducts a thorough assessment to determine their current needs.

Individualized Treatment for Opioid Addiction in Parkersburg, WV

Everyone who is struggling with opioid addiction has a different experience. But one often common thread is that living with opioid use disorder can lead to a sense of loneliness and isolation.

At our Parkersburg opioid addiction center, we do our best to make sure that that feeling disappears the minute we admit you to our program. Many methadone clinics only administer medication that attempts to combat the physical impact of addiction, but our clinic helps patients learn valuable recovery skills they can carry with them long after they leave us.

Along with MAT, patients participate in individual and group therapies. These sessions give you a chance to work with both trained professionals and fellow patients who are experiencing similar struggles on the road to recovery. By gleaning insight from others and offering your own perspective, you can begin to understand the changes you need to make to return to a healthier life free of opioid addiction.

What to Expect at Parkersburg CTC Methadone Clinic

Every compassionate professional on staff at our Parkersburg treatment center has one goal in mind: helping each patient we treat recover in the safest, most effective manner possible.

In order to make sure that you achieve lasting recovery, we need to understand where you’re coming from. You’ll complete a thorough intake process, including a variety of preadmission tests, which will help us formulate a personalized treatment plan that will guide your recovery process. Instead of the one-size-fits-all plans common at many methadone clinics, you’ll have a course of care that reflects your unique strengths and goals.

Our team is ready to answer your questions and begin the admissions process when you are. If you or a loved one is struggling with opioid addiction and could benefit from medication-assisted treatment, we are here to help. Contact us today and let’s get you started on the successful recovery journey you deserve.
