Tremonton Mobile Unit Comprehensive Treatment Center

Tremonton Mobile Unit is the satellite location for Layton Comprehensive Treatment Center. Located in Tremonton, Utah, Tremonton Mobile Unit provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) on an outpatient basis for adults age 18 and older who have opioid addictions.  

Medication-assisted treatment offers a holistic approach to opioid addiction care. By receiving prescription medication and counseling, adults who participate in MAT can experience relief from the physical challenges of opioid addiction and learn coping skills that can promote lasting success. 

At our mobile treatment center, we’re pleased to offer two medication options for patients: methadone and Suboxone. We also offer comprehensive counseling services that include individual and group therapy sessions. These services may set us apart from other methadone clinics that offer fewer medication and counseling options for patients. 

Methadone and Suboxone work by relieving the physical impacts of opioid withdrawal and easing opioid cravings. When someone takes one of these medications with professional supervision, they can significantly improve their mental and physical well-being as they work toward long-term recovery. These benefits can help make it easier to navigate treatment, resist opioid use, and participate in counseling sessions.  

Although medication can offer enormous benefits and help someone build a firmer foundation for recovery, it is not the only important component of MAT. At our Tremonton methadone clinic, counseling is also a valuable part of the medication-assisted treatment experience. 

When someone participates in substance abuse treatment, it’s usually crucial for them to receive support for the social, emotional, and behavioral aspects of their recovery journey. MAT-based counseling provides the opportunity to address these different areas of concern in a safe setting. At Tremonton Mobile Unit, we offer individual therapy sessions with a substance abuse counselor. These sessions may occur about once per week depending on your progress in treatment. Group therapy sessions in our outpatient treatment program occur multiple times per week and are offered as telephone or call-in services. Group topics we may cover in our outpatient MAT program include relapse prevention, grief and loss, life skills, communication, and wellness.  

Our methadone clinic, Tremonton Mobile Unit, is conveniently located close to Interstate 84 and Interstate 15. Our treatment center is situated in a rural, outdoor setting, close to nearby amenities including several hotels, parks, and restaurants. For patients’ comfort, we have a restroom on-site at our facility.

Our intake process consists of several detailed assessments, which can help us determine which MAT services may best promote your success in treatment.  

As part of our intake process, we will assess your treatment needs and begin to create your individualized care plan. We will also evaluate your physical health, your history of drug use, and your current drug use to help us determine the medication and dosage that may be most appropriate for you. 

Once you begin treatment in our outpatient program, we will carefully monitor your progress and provide personalized support to help you reach your goals and reclaim a healthy life. Our qualified experts, including our case manager, counseling and nursing staff, and advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), are available to support each patient on their MAT journey.
