Breaking the cycle of addiction starts with asking for help.

Wenatchee CTC helps patients establish a strong foundation for opioid addiction recovery.

Is Wenatchee CTC right for you?

Wenatchee Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers outpatient treatment for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder. The center, which is located in Wenatchee, WA, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

About Wenatchee Comprehensive Treatment Center

At Wenatchee Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we recognize the destructive impact opioid addiction can have on a person's life. Struggling with an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or another type of opioid can cause careers to unravel, relationships to fracture, and, far too often, lives to be lost. However, by getting treatment from the experienced team of professionals at our Comprehensive Treatment Center, people can reclaim a life no longer defined by addiction.

Wenatchee CTC is located in Wenatchee, Washington, and provides care for adults age 18 and older who are battling addictions to opioids. We proudly serve community members throughout the Wenatchee Valley, including those living in Chelan and Douglas counties. Our approach centers on medication-assisted treatment (MAT), a comprehensive method of opioid addiction care that combines prescription medication with counseling to address our patients' emotional, physical, behavioral, and social needs.

Decades of clinical research has repeatedly affirmed MAT as a safe and effective approach to opioid addiction treatment. The medications used in MAT can reduce or eliminate the distressing symptoms of withdrawal, while regular counseling sessions help people make meaningful changes in their behavior and lifestyle that promote long-term recovery.

Our compassionate team partners with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan, which outlines the prescribed medication, the appropriate dosage, and the therapeutic interventions best suited to their needs. Throughout treatment, patients meet frequently with their care team to track their progress and ensure that they are receiving the high-quality support they need to achieve true and lasting healing.

By choosing Wenatchee Comprehensive Treatment Center, a brighter, more promising future is within your reach.

Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Addiction

Widely considered the gold standard of opioid addiction care, medication-assisted treatment has consistently demonstrated greater success than other approaches because it treats the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Studies show that patients who receive MAT are less likely to relapse or experience an overdose from opioids.

One of the reasons why MAT is so successful is because the medications used help relieve the physical toll of opioid withdrawal. When someone becomes dependent on opioids, their body adapts to the substance and struggles to function without it. Stopping opioid use triggers a withdrawal response that can include agitation, nausea, paranoia, extreme anxiety, insomnia, sweating, muscle aches, abdominal cramping, and vomiting. Because using an opioid quickly relieves these symptoms, many people find themselves trapped in a cycle that's nearly impossible to break alone. Powerful cravings can further dominate a person's thoughts, drawing them back to using opioids. But when the person receives prescription medication from a qualified provider, the cycle can be broken by easing withdrawal symptoms and reducing cravings, giving them the stability they need to stop using opioids again.

The medications used in MAT can include methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone®. Each patient receives a prescription for a medication and appropriate dosage based on their specific situation. Throughout treatment at Wenatchee CTC, the care team closely monitors how each patient is responding and makes any necessary adjustments safely and gradually.

Alongside the medication component, patients participate in individual and group therapy sessions. This combination ensures that both the physical and psychological aspects of opioid addiction are addressed together, rather than in isolation.

What To Expect at Our Wenatchee Opioid Addiction Treatment Center

We understand that deciding to stop using opioids can feel overwhelming, and reaching out for help can be intimidating. That's why we have designed our admissions process to be as smooth and seamless as possible. Every patient who walks through our doors is met with kindness, respect, and dignity, along with the encouragement they deserve as they take this brave step toward recovery.

The journey begins with a thorough assessment, during which our team gathers important background information to better understand each patient's needs. We ask about medical history, social circumstances, the extent of the person’s opioid use, and any previous treatment experiences. Patients also have blood drawn and complete a TB test as part of this intake process. The information collected becomes the foundation for an individualized treatment plan that guides the patient forward.

Following admission, patients receive their medication prescription along with a schedule for individual and group counseling sessions.

Individual therapy provides a confidential, one-on-one setting where each patient works with a skilled counselor to explore how opioid addiction has affected their life, from family and friendships to their health and career. These conversations can be eye-opening, helping patients recognize the full weight of what they have been carrying. From there, the counselor and patient work together on coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, behavior change, and rebuilding damaged relationships.

Group therapy brings patients together with peers who are also working through the challenges of opioid addiction. Led by a qualified professional, these sessions cover topics such as relationship boundaries, identifying triggers, and preventing relapse. There's something uniquely powerful about being in a room with others who truly understand your experience. Addiction often feels isolating, but group sessions remind patients that they are not alone, and they create space for both giving and receiving support. Many patients find that the connections formed in group therapy sessions become a meaningful part of the community that helps them sustain their recovery.

If you're searching for an opioid addiction treatment provider in the Wenatchee area or nearby Chelan and Douglas counties, consider the highly skilled clinicians at Wenatchee CTC. We're committed to helping you achieve recovery and supporting you on your journey well beyond your time with us.
