About West Lebanon Comprehensive Treatment Center in West Lebanon, NH

West Lebanon Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid addiction.

The safest and most effective way to treat opioid use disorder, which is the clinical term for opioid addiction, is MAT. Research has shown that the combination of medication and therapy involved in MAT gives people a better chance at lasting recovery. It also decreases the risk of relapse.

Some methadone clinics provide only one medication option, but our West Lebanon addiction treatment center has three — buprenorphine, Suboxone, and methadone. We will ensure that you get the medication and dosage that are right for you by administering a comprehensive assessment prior to your admission.

Our Methadone Clinic's Treatment Therapies

We call our West Lebanon clinic a Comprehensive Treatment Center rather than a methadone clinic. We aren’t just concerned with administering medication and providing therapy sessions. We want to help you manage the symptoms of opioid addiction and find a path to long-term recovery that will be successful.

We do this by providing personalized treatment plans that consist of methadone or another type of medication along with a therapeutic element. Counseling helps patients understand the patterns and behaviors that may have led them to become addicted to opioids, and it offers the chance to correct those habits and develop the skills that can lead to lasting sobriety.

At our West Lebanon center, we provide group and individual therapy. Group sessions put you together with fellow adults who are struggling with opioid addiction so that you can understand each other’s struggles and find fellowship along the road to recovery. Individual sessions give you a chance to speak one-on-one with a trained professional who can help pinpoint which decisions you need to make to give yourself a chance for the most successful outcome.

What to Expect at West Lebanon CTC

It isn’t easy to arrive at the point where you’re ready to receive treatment for opioid addiction at a methadone clinic. Once you do, we want to make the admissions process as straightforward as possible.

That starts with an intake appointment during which we will clearly outline what you can expect from our West Lebanon center. We’ll ask some questions about your medical history, any previous treatment, and your current goals heading into MAT. We’ll guide you through some basic testing, such as a physical exam, which will help us to determine your personalized treatment plan.

Each element of care will be customized to take advantage of your unique strengths. We’ll ask you to play an active role in your recovery, which means fully engaging in therapeutic sessions and asking any questions about your care along the way. That attitude, combined with our staff’s compassion and expertise, will help you discover that better days are right around the corner.
