About Cumming Comprehensive Treatment Center in Cumming, GA

Cumming Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers personalized medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. An evidence-based intervention, MAT combines prescription medication and counseling to help people successfully end opioid use and begin the process of long-term recovery.

Respected organizations such as the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) recommend MAT as an effective form of opioid addiction treatment. Additionally, MAT services have been offered for years in methadone clinics around the country.

Many traditional methadone clinics offer one type of medication for patients. However, at our Comprehensive Treatment Center in Cumming, Georgia, adults may receive a prescription for methadone or buprenorphine as part of their individualized treatment plans. These medications can alleviate opioid withdrawal symptoms and cravings and make it easier for patients to avoid relapse and maintain lasting recovery.

Therapies Used at Our Cumming Clinic

Receiving medication through a MAT program such as ours can be an important step on the road to recovery from an opioid addiction. The medications that are available in MAT can help you lay a foundation for positive change by improving your functioning and clarity of mind so that you can engage in treatment more easily.

At Cumming CTC, we offer individual and group counseling sessions to support the emotional, social, and behavioral aspects of each patient’s recovery journey. In individual counseling sessions, patients can process their feelings and experiences and receive focused support as they work toward their recovery goals. In group therapy sessions, patients may connect with peers who are also receiving MAT services, explore strategies for preventing relapse, and develop coping and life skills.

At our outpatient addiction treatment center in Cumming, Georgia, we focus on helping each patient acquire the tools that can promote long-term health and well-being.

Individualized Treatment for Opioid Addiction in Cumming, GA

People often expect to receive counseling services and medications such as methadone when they seek treatment at a methadone clinic. However, patients who receive care at Cumming CTC may be pleasantly surprised to learn that we offer a high level of personalized support for patients.

Our individualized approach to care typically begins with a person’s intake appointment. During this appointment, our professionals will thoroughly evaluate your needs and medical history so that they can create a care plan that outlines the medication and counseling services you can receive during MAT.

During your time in our program, our diverse team of professionals will guide you through the MAT process, including monitoring your medication, coordinating your care as needed, and assessing your progress in recovery.

At Cumming CTC, our approach to opioid addiction recovery is hopeful and empowering. We work to provide a safe and comfortable environment where each person who chooses our center can receive the highest level of services and support.
