On March 13, 2023, Acadia Healthcare opened Ft. Lauderdale Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The new treatment center offers clinically excellent care for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to opioids, such as heroin and prescription painkillers. The CTC’s multidisciplinary team of professionals strives to create a nurturing atmosphere that is conducive to healing. Ft. Lauderdale CTC provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which includes FDA-approved medications and counseling sessions. Medications can help ease opioid withdrawal symptoms, while counseling can help patients learn relapse prevention skills. Acadia Healthcare continues to expand its CTC Division to provide effective opioid addiction treatment that can help patients achieve and maintain lasting recovery.
