Acadia Healthcare has added a new Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Hillsborough, North Carolina, that provides high-quality medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Opening today, Mar. 25, 2024, Hillsborough CTC offers MAT services for adults age 18 and older who are battling addictions to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids. As part of MAT, patients at the new outpatient clinic can receive medication and take part in therapy sessions to help them get on a path to sustained recovery. Hillsborough CTC, which serves Orange County and the surrounding communities, offers a seamless intake process and same-day admission. The opening of this CTC is an important step toward improving access to treatment for opioid use disorder in the Durham area.
